Three ways we teach

Every learner arrives with a different problem. Open the one that sounds like yours.

For the learner who is coping in most subjects but sinking in one or two. A qualified subject tutor, one hour at a time, until the gap closes.

  • Live one-on-one or small group
  • Every session recorded to rewatch
  • Past paper practice built in
  • Homework and assignment support
  • Exam prep intensives
  • Flexible afternoon and weekend slots

From R150 a session — cheaper in bundles

A whole school year delivered at home. CAPS-aligned, taught live, with a tutor who knows your child by name and a record you can hand to the department.

  • Four compulsory plus three elective subjects
  • Live classes, all recorded
  • Printable workbooks each month
  • Weekly one-on-one tutor check-in
  • Progress reports for parents
  • Portfolio of evidence support

From R1,800 a month — or R450 for a single subject

You did not fail, you ran out of time. Rewrite the subjects you need or push a mark high enough to open the door you want. Built around adults who work.

  • Rewrite one subject or the full certificate
  • Evening and weekend classes
  • Ten years of past papers and memos
  • Timed mock exams under conditions
  • Exam centre guidance
  • Study plan built to your exam date

From R800 per subject programme

What families tell us

The measure of a school is what happens after the exam.

She went from a 38% in Physical Sciences to a 61% in one term. What changed was that somebody finally explained it at her pace instead of the class's pace.

We pulled both children out of school in April and I was terrified about the paperwork. Istudy walked me through the department requirements step by step.

I wrote matric in 2019 and failed maths. I'm 26 now with a full-time job. Evening classes meant I could actually do it this time.

Questions parents actually ask

For home education in Grades 1 to 9, yes. Applications close at the end of September for the following year, and you submit to your nearest district office. If you have missed that date, you can still apply and give reasons for the delay — the department may allow it. From Grade 10 the learner must be registered with an education provider for the National Senior Certificate. We help with the records and reports either way.

A smartphone is the minimum. A laptop or tablet with a stable connection is much better, and it makes a real difference in subjects with a lot of written work. If you don't have a device, our starter kit includes a tablet, a data bundle and printed CAPS guides for R1,200.

Assessments and tests run through our platform during the year. Final examinations are written at an accredited exam centre near you. We prepare learners for the paper they will actually sit, and we guide you through the registration for it.

Yes. Most families join us at the start of a term, but we take learners whenever they need us. We run a diagnostic first so the tutor knows exactly where to begin rather than starting from a syllabus page number.

You can. Single subjects run at R450 a month and many families start there, then add more once they see how their child responds. There is no penalty for starting small.

You complete the online application, pay the R300 registration fee, and your child writes a short diagnostic so we can place them properly. We then match a tutor and send the class schedule. Most learners are in their first lesson within a week.
